An SY control cable is a flexible instrumentation cable designed for measuring, control or regulation in the field of process automation.[1] It is a highly flexible multicore cable, with (class 5) copper conductors and a galvanised steel wire braid (GSWB) for mechanical protection. The cable is typically manufactured with PVC insulation, bedding and a transparent PVC sheath.[2] The transparent sheath means signs of deterioration, damage or corrosion can be detected with ease. SY has a voltage rating of 300/500V and meets the requirements of both BS6500[3] and VDE0250 standards. .

Over head conducters (AAAC)

Concentric lay stranded Aluminium Alloy Conductors (AAAC) are made out of high strength Aluminium-Magnesium-Silicon Alloy. Midal manufactures and supply AAAC with different variants of electrical grade alloy type 6101 and 6201. one or more strands of hard drawn 1350 aluminium alloy. These conductors are designed to get better strength to weight ratio and offer improved electrical properties, excellent sag-tension characteristics, and superior corrosion resistance when compared with ACSR. As compared to a conventional ACSR conductor, the lighter weight, comparable strength & current carrying capacity, lower electrical losses and superior corrosion resistance have given AAAC a wide acceptance in the distribution and medium & high voltage transmission lines.. Midal can manufacture & supply AAAC on Non returnable wooden/steel reels or Returnable steel reels. Features

Over head conducters (ACSR)

Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) is concentrically stranded conductor with one or more layers of hard drawn 1350-H19 aluminium wire on galvanized steel wire core. The core can be single wire or stranded depending on the size. Steel core wire is available in Class A , B or Class C galvanization for corrosion protection. Additional corrosion protection is available through the application of grease to the core or infusion of the completed conductor with grease. The proportion of steel and aluminium in an ACSR conductor can be selected based on the mechanical strength and current carrying capacity demanded by each application.
